While this is not a rule, I would advise you to wait 24 hours before making a ban appeal; it is always better to come at it with a clear head instead of fired up from the incident. You may only appeal a given ban once unless otherwise instructed. If your appeal is denied and the ban is of indefinite duration, staff will tell you when you can next appeal. If your appeal is denied and your ban is of a definite duration, staff may or may not allow you to appeal it again, if so they will tell you when. For this reason, if you are justifiably banned you should wait until you can demonstrate some improvement otherwise you may waste your appeal. If you are not the banned person or staff, only post in a ban appeal thread to clarify relevant points of fact otherwise your posting privileges will be revoked.
